OutdoorArtspaSpring is here and hopefully no more snow for this arctic part of the world. The trees have barely started to sprout buds. My early spring bulbs, daffodils, hyacinths, didn’t come out at all. We still keep ourselves busy.
We went out and grabbed little twigs and some branches fallen from the trees.
My daughter started to work on a 2D artwork.
We utilized every possible piece.
Here is her house out of branches, with smoke coming out of its chimney and tree beside it.
My son went for 3D.
Here is his house standing in fine balance.

This art activity is inspired by a bronze horse by sculptor Debra Butterfield in Seneca Playlot Park in downtown Chicago.

I am a mother of two and a type of person who you would call “Jack of all trades, master of none”. As you might guess from categories, I love my children, reading, sewing, gardening, traveling and cooking. I also work full time so I have to be practical to do all the things I want to do in a 24-hr-day. More About Me
