Our nanny, Ana, prepared this special family album for my son.

We live far away from our extended family, grandparents, and grandaunts and uncles. The time between visits are long enough for a young kid to forget the new family member (s)he met and spent time only for few weeks. So Ana put together a photo album with family members in it. We picked the photos of family members taken with my son, so that he can reference to the times they met.

She also put photos of my son with various facial expressions to learn about moods and feelings. We printed the photos. She prepared the words and expressions that go with the photos. She decorated the album with additional fun stickers.

Instead of a regular photo album, I purchased 3-hole photo album refill pages and put them in a 1″ hard plastic binder.

Now my son reviews the album every day and remember all the family members.

I am a mother of two and a type of person who you would call “Jack of all trades, master of none”. As you might guess from categories, I love my children, reading, sewing, gardening, traveling and cooking. I also work full time so I have to be practical to do all the things I want to do in a 24-hr-day. More About Me
