A list of activities in and around Chicago that are on my radar for this weekend. The weather forecast looks very promising. Enjoy the great weather, outdoors.

Saturday, May 18 – Maker Faire Chicago: We buy Make Magazine. The fair should be interesting.
Location: CarL Shurz High School, 3601 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL

Saturday-Sunday, May 18-19 – Kilbourn Park Organic Plant Sale: I will be there, as I did for the last 4 years. The weather is going to be perfect to plant those veggies in my garden.
Location: 3501 N. Kilbourn Ave. Chicago IL 60641

Saturday-Sunday, May 18-19 – Skokie Festival of Cultures: We visit this festival almost every year. The booths are fun and shows are great. If that’s not enough there is always a great playground nearby and Skokie Exploritorium.
Location: Oakton Park, 4701 West Oakton St., Skokie, Illinois

Saturday-Sunday, May 18-19 – Chicago Green Festival
Location: Navy Pier

I am a mother of two and a type of person who you would call “Jack of all trades, master of none”. As you might guess from categories, I love my children, reading, sewing, gardening, traveling and cooking. I also work full time so I have to be practical to do all the things I want to do in a 24-hr-day. More About Me
