We have begun our descent

Mark April 23, 2010, as the date I weighed my heaviest. Supposedly, I was eating healthy with seafood and salad for in Sweden. With all the stress and not moving around, I have put on 6 lbs in 3 weeks. I weighed for 3 consecutive days. No change.

I started working out. Adding the gardening and all the outdoor activities with kids, I’ve lost 5 of it by the end of the week.

I am definitely in the “Let’s lose some weight before summer” groove. I’ll focus on clean eating and regular workouts. I know, I cannot do it by myself. I need all the support and tools I can get.

IMG_1525I got these five finger shoes for workout and running. I love them. They are perfect workout shoes for my bunions.

I planted my greens and salads last week. They have already sprouted.

Necessary literature.

I really need to do it this time.

It was during the time when the volcano Eyjafjallajökull had erupted in Iceland. I could not fit into any of my clothes so I had to go shopping to buy size 14 clothes, the biggest even in my life. I was now face to face with the ugly truth but didn’t have the courage to take on it. In Sweden, the food was amazing, even though I only ate fish, veggies and salads. I must have eaten a lot. When I returned to United States, the scale was tipping at 180 pounds. I wrote my post titled “We have begun our descent”. […]

I am a mother of two and a type of person who you would call “Jack of all trades, master of none”. As you might guess from categories, I love my children, reading, sewing, gardening, traveling and cooking. I also work full time so I have to be practical to do all the things I want to do in a 24-hr-day. More About Me
